Underarms are especially popular. Namely young girls as young as 14 will benefit from 2-3 treatments just to make the hairs weaker and so less irritation. Plus making it easier for mums to do a quick at home wax.

05 How many treatments will I need?

Permanent hair reduction technology can only affect hair in active phases of growth, so several treatments are needed to affect all your unwanted hair. You don’t need to let hair grow out between treatment sessions. The timing starts off closer together to avoid having to deal with any hair in between treatments, then the treatment intervals are extended. Body areas are generally 8 treatments.

06 What will the treatment feel like?

Most people feel only a slight, momentary “snap” at the treatment site during the procedure. Pain thresholds vary a lot between clients so it is hard to say but having less stimulants before treatment, like coffee does actually help.

Typically, most people experience a mild, sunburn-like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling, immediately after the treatment. This usually lasts 2 to 24 hours. Ask your provider to discuss other possible side effects and necessary post-treatment care with you. Clients must use SPF during treatment, the idea is to try to avoid becoming darker, look at areas on your body that don’t see the sun.
