Laser hair removal works on dark hair. If the contrast of hair and skin is not great the results may be lessened. Saying that we treat with laser hair removal for quite a few sessions so results may surprise you.
If a customer comes to me, I have both treatments at my work. I will always pick laser first if the hair is dark and tough. Electrolysis is for the fluffy fair hairs, downy, hormonal hair or hair that is tough but not good for laser hair removal or IPL hair removal like white or blonde.
Often the combination of both is a great idea and will give the permanent hair removal results faster.
